Зарядка в розетке работает даже без телефона!
Для зарядки таких гаджетов как смартфон требуется наличие напряжения около 5 Вольт. В целях его получения зарядные устройства осуществляют преобразование стандартного сетевого напряжения — 220 Вольт. По расчетам инженеров-электриков, в год на такое «холостое» питание тратится около 3 кВ/ч в год. И это касается не только гаджетов. «В грозу вообще лучше всю технику отключить. Не только телефоны и гаджеты. Лучше в такой момент вынуть все устройства из розетки», — советует Борисов. Когда зарядное устройство нагревается, опасно ли это? Нагревание устройства при питании электроэнергией — нормальное явление, считает Борисов. Пугаться этого не стоит. Если же зарядное устройство остается по-прежнему горячим, значит произошла проблема и его лучше вынуть из розетки. Обычно такое бывает в сельской местности, где электросети достаточное ветхие, и не соблюдены требования безопасности при их установке. В основном перегреваются зарядки, которые априори имели какой-то дефект. Такие устройства лучше не оставлять надолго, еще лучше заменить на новые. То же касается дешевых неизвестных экземпляров. Оставлять зарядку в розетке, конечно, можно. Это проверили на личном опыте миллионы человек. Но вокруг этой практики создано столько мифов, что отличить правильные советы от ошибочных очень сложно. Давайте разберемся в вопросе и узнаем мнение специалистов – ведь риск в любом случае есть, пусть в большинстве случаев и не очень большой. 
Потребление электроэнергии
Зарядник действительно потребляет электричество постоянно, даже без телефона. Но не пытайтесь уменьшить счета за электроэнергию, отключая зарядку. В пассивном режиме устройство потребляет мизерное количество энергии, за месяц оно намотает несколько копеек. Если не выключать зарядник из розетки целый год, расход составит 1/3 киловатта. С такой экономией семейный бюджет не поправишь. Но если вы принципиально не хотите оплачивать перерасход, даже такой незначительный, вытаскивайте зарядник из розетки. Это вопрос не денег, а желания. 
Уменьшение сроков эксплуатации
Еще один популярный миф утверждает, что «срок жизни» зарядного устройства ограничен. Чем дольше зарядка подключена к розетке, тем быстрее она испортится. Доля истины в этом есть. Ресурс работы устройства – в среднем 50 000 часов. Это около 2000 суток, то есть почти 6 лет. Следовательно, блок питания может быть подключен к сети целых 6 лет, и ему это не повредит. Допустим, вы будете постоянно отключать устройство. Тогда срок эксплуатации на несколько лет увеличится. Но имеет ли это смысл? За 5 лет блок питания наверняка придется заменить – он поцарапается, расшатаются разъемы, может, даже сломается. Многие люди даже смартфоны меняют через 3–4 года, ведь модели устаревают. Но если вы хотите, чтобы зарядник проработал лет 10–15, и уверены, что он не сломается по другим причинам, обязательно выключайте его из сети. 
Пожароопасность
Существуют розетки с портами USB. На вид это обычная розетка с привычными круглыми разъемами, ниже которых расположены прямоугольные порты – такие же, как на зарядных устройствах. И «начинка» у розетки такая же, как у зарядника. Под крышкой прячутся не только провода, но и схемы. А значит, это тот же самый блок питания, только стационарный – вмонтированный прямо в стену. И он подключен к сети – постоянно. Ничего не загорается. Так что можете не бояться пожара – блок питания не вспыхнет и не подожжет дом. Но будьте осторожны, если в доме есть общие факторы риска:- старая или неисправная проводка;
- отсутствие автоматической защиты от короткого замыкания и перегрузок.
Дети в доме
Это единственная убедительная причина отключать зарядку и убирать ее подальше. На обычную розетку можно поставить заглушку, а вот с зарядным устройством так сделать не получится. Блок питания опасен даже в пассивном состоянии. Палец в порт малыш вряд ли всунет – разъем слушком узкий. Но ребенок вполне может использовать какой-то металлический предмет – спицу, гвоздь, узкий черенок ложки. К тому же, шнур легко оборвать или прокусить, даже прочная изоляция не рассчитана на детские игры.У зарядника сила тока на выходе – до 2 А, а напряжение – до 5 вольт. Такая травма весьма болезненна, поэтому не рискуйте. Прячьте зарядные устройства в местах, куда малыши не смогут забраться.Если в доме есть собака или кошка, блок питания тоже стоит убрать подальше.
